Volunteer Instructions

The Soccer Stand

Opening the Stand:
The Stand Opener should put $30 into the register to start (5's, 1's and quarters) and unlock bathroom doors.

  1. Wash hands before handling food/drink (gloves).
  2. Make coffee - plug in machine and make 2 pots with plain water prior to making pot of coffee.
  3. Check bathrooms - clean/stock as needed.
  4. Check garbage cans - empty into dumpsters.
  5. Hang price board outside middle of Stand - on silver hangers.  Unlock/Open windows (metal slots).
  6. Wipe down counters using wipes, as needed.
  7. Hot dogs - turn roller machine on high, spritz with non-stick spray, put hot dogs on for a few minutes (until cooked) then turn to low to keep warm.  (Instructions near machine).
  8. Popcorn - cook in microwave for approximately 3 minutes.
  9. Pretzels - instructions near pretzel warmer.  Pretzels stored in freezer.

Closing the Stand:

  1. Turn off hot dog machine, keep rollers on to wipe down.  Remove tray under rollers, wash, dry, replace, cover with foil.  Put unused buns into microwave (after cleaning microwave).
  2. Unplug coffee machine, wash pots and put on counter next to (not on) coffee machine.
  3. Sweep floor.
  4. Clean bathrooms using wipes (Clorox, as needed).
  5. Supply bathrooms by re-filling soap containers, replenish toilet paper and paper towels.  Empty garbage cans into larger cans near the Stand.
  6. Empty garbage cans into dumpster in parking lot.
  7. Wipe down counters with antibacterial wipes.
  8. Close and lock windows (metal slots).
  9. Close Stand door and close and lock the garage door by turning the handle to lock it.

The Stand Closer should collect the money from the register (leave nickels, dimes and pennies).
